Hillsborough Forum was formed in 2002 (as Hillsborough & Owlerton Neighbourhood Forum) to enable local residents to play an active part in their community, and to work on the regeneration of the Hillsborough & Owlerton area. Hillsborough Forum became a Limited Company with Charitable aims on 31st January 2006. In December 2007 it began the process of applying for Registered Charity Status.
The Forum currently employs two workers to develop, and deliver the strategy for the area and help local people get involved. Nick Waterfield has joined us as the new Project Development Officer alongside support worker Wendy Wells. Both Nick and Wendy live in the local area and are keen to make the changes happen.

Hillsborough is largely privately owned or let by private landlords, with the
larger estates with a wider mix of owner occupier and social housing such as

is crucial to involve as many groups and organisations as possible to raise
public awareness and to be able to represent the community at a strategic
